We’re a community bank FIRST

See the difference

We’re a community bank FIRST

We live by our FIRST values — Family, Independence & Innovation, Relationships, Stewardship, and Teamwork — and every interaction we have with our customers and employees should make those values visible.

The world is complicated enough already, so as a value-driven establishment, we have one simple goal of making our customers’ lives easier and better.

In turn, that means helping customers achieve their financial goals and celebrating their success. It also means working through tough times and helping our customers plan for the ups and downs of life, no matter what they are.

Our values uphold us to a higher standard that reflects back on our customers. We admit when we didn’t get it right and then work to correct it. We maintain the highest levels of security and system uptime so you can do business how and when you want. We have local services and people who want to see you navigate your financial journey successfully. And by living these values, you get to see a window into who we are. You see what we believe and how those things can create amazing customer experiences no matter how you interact with us.

We choose to be a community bank so we can contribute to the communities we live and work in. We invest in community growth and development — from a new baseball field in Brandon to being one of the largest per capita donors to the Sioux Empire United Way. We are first in our market with Community Cards that contribute directly to our local school districts.

We also know what we aren’t…a big national or regional bank. We know it’s pretty easy to get exhausted by the interactions people have at larger institutions, because we see it every day. Customers come to us and share their stories of lack of transparency, poor customer service, technology let-downs, or feeling like a number. These are just some of the things that don’t fit with who we are or who we want to be.

If you’re looking for a different kind of experience — one driven by values and community — and you’re a little tired of being just another number at a big bank, think of us. We’re ready to work with you to help make your life easier, better, and more secure. We’re ready to help you solve problems in person and online with care. We’re eager to grow with you no matter where your financial journey takes you.

When you start to consider a change to our community bank — your community bank — stop by a branch or give us a call at (605) 335-5200. We’ll be ready.
