Giving Back
Since 2005, we’ve awarded $89,000 to local high school seniors through our scholarship program.
We give back to our communities in three primary ways: time, talent, and treasure.
With your help, we donate thousands of dollars to local schools through our Community Card program each year. In fact, we gave a total of $33,811.
Giving to others is one of the most important — and rewarding — facets of the holiday season.
One of our favorite ways to reinvest in our communities is through our yearly scholarship program. This year, we once again awarded $1,000 scholarships to five deserving high school seniors!
We love celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17 because, well, we love spreading kindness. And you probably already know that we even have an initiative here at the Bank centered around it: KindnessFirst!
With your help, we’ve given $41,821.49 back to local schools through our Community Card program this year!
What is KindnessFirst? Have you ever stopped at Breadsmith on a chilly November day and been surprised with a free loaf of bread? Perhaps you’ve been walking down Phillips Avenue in the summer and were offered a free snow cone.
If you were given a million dollars, how would you use the money to improve your community? Well, it’s not a million dollars, but since 2005, we have awarded $81,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors!
Have you heard about our KindnessFirst events yet? Maybe you’ve been surprised with a free loaf of bread at Breadsmith, or maybe you’ve been treated to free snow cones on Phillips Avenue.
