Sarah came to work for First National Bank because of their reputation for doing the right thing for customers and treating employees well.
She attended South Dakota State University, majoring in Business/Economics and minoring in Accounting. She graduated with highest honors and went on to earn the right to use the CFA Charter through the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR). Although she grew up in New Ulm, MN, Sarah has called South Dakota home for more than 20 years.
For more than a decade, Sarah has enjoyed getting paid to do her hobby. “I find it exciting and rewarding to help people with something as important as their financial security.”
Sarah volunteers on the SDSU Board of Advisors and the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation Investment Committee. She is a member of the SD Investment Society, the CFA Institute, and the CFA Society of MN/SD/ND. In the past, she has sat on many boards such as the SD Investment Society, Volunteers of America, Business and Professional Women, and the SDSU President’s Economics and Management Task Force.
