Ag Banker

Hometown: Carrington, ND
Education: North Dakota State University; Iowa School of Banking

I’ve worked in the banking industry for more than a decade. Although I left the day-to-day of farming in 2018 after moving to Sioux Falls, I grew up on a row crop operation in North Dakota where my dad and brother currently farm about 25,000 acres of corn and soybeans.

I’ve done everything from putting the crop in the ground to taking it to the elevator!

Additionally, one unique thing I’ve done in my career is manage a local elevator, so I also have experience in what happens with crops after a farmer sells their product.

I look forward to lending my knowledge and experiences within the ag industry to help any producer, from large operations to small family farms, grow and succeed.

Much to the dismay of my teammates, I’m a proud supporter of the Bison and love watching NDSU football in my spare time.

Other hobbies include woodworking, golfing, spending time outdoors and with family, and helping my kids — Emerson, Addyson, and Grayson — with extracurricular activities. I also enjoy volunteering with the Furniture Mission and serving at The Banquet.

My wife, Jessica, and I have been married for nearly a decade and, in addition to our three kids, have a bernedoodle named Maui.

If you’re ever looking for a good story, ask me about the time I jumped out of an airplane over Hoover Dam or ran out of air while scuba diving!
