Ag Banker
Hometown: Brandon, SD
Education: South Dakota State University
Although I didn’t live on a farm myself, I grew up enjoying tractor rides with my grandpa and working alongside my uncles at their operation in Platte, SD.
Some of my favorite memories are from cutting, raking, and baling hay; running the grain cart; and working cattle at the farm during my high school and college years.
While in my junior year at SDSU, I added more agriculture experience to my resume when I began interning for the Ag Credit team here at FNB.
That opportunity turned into a full-time position in 2021, and I was promoted to Ag Banker in August 2023 — which is a perfect fit because I love working with farmers each day to get to know their operation, help them better understand their financial position, and partner with them in achieving their goals.
The summer of 2023 was quite the whirlwind for me, as I also got married! My wife, Paige, and I met in high school and attended SDSU together.
When we’re not cheering on the Jackrabbits, I stay busy by golfing, fishing, and hunting pheasants with my black lab, Koda.
I also try to help out at Gusso Brothers Lawncare — the landscaping business I own and operate with my brothers, Matt and Andy — whenever I can, and you can often find me volunteering at The Banquet, Rake the Town, and the Sioux Empire Livestock Show.
