Education: Lander University; Winthrop University

I have been in the financial services industry for more than 25 years, working in various finance and leadership roles at organizations across the southern part of the country.

Most recently, I served as chief financial officer for a bank in Bastrop, Texas.

The opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself and help my community is what I’ve loved about working in this industry for so long. Although I am new to the Sioux Falls area, I’m excited to get to know the community and serve its many wonderful residents!

Having grown up in a military family with a mother who taught at a public school in an underprivileged area of South Carolina, I value the Bank’s long-standing commitment to stewardship above all.

My wife, Suzell, and I recently moved to South Dakota, and I am excited to get involved with local nonprofits and organizations after volunteering with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity in the past.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking; watching Duke basketball, Juventus soccer, and FSU football; and staying active by running or hiking with our dog, Baggio.

In fact, the scariest thing I’ve ever done is hike Angel’s Landing in Utah (5,790’ elevation) in 25 mph winds!
