Ways to make a cash or check deposit

Ways to make a cash or check deposit

As part of our commitment to serving your financial needs with innovative technology and convenient locations, we offer multiple ways to make a deposit.

Whether you’re out running errands and want to stop by the bank, you need to drop off a deposit outside of business hours, or you’d prefer to do it right from the comfort of your home, you’ve got options:

Mobile deposit

You can deposit a check with the snap of a picture when you use our mobile deposit feature in the FNBSF app.

Do it from your bed, while you’re out on vacation, or just about anywhere else. The only thing we ask is that you don’t attempt to make a deposit while you’re driving or, say, surrounded by wild lions on an African safari.

All you have to do is endorse your check with “For Mobile Deposit Only FNBSF” or check the box indicating a mobile deposit, then take a picture of the front and back.

Branch and drive-up locations

Seeing you is always the best part of the day for our tellers. They’d be happy to help you with a cash or check deposit (or any other banking needs you may have) at one of our 11 full-service locations or drive-ups.

We even have Saturday hours from 9:00 a.m. to noon at our 57th Street, Arrowhead, Western Mall, and Brandon drive-ups. Come see us on the weekend!

Secure night drops

Each of our full-service locations has a secure night drop, so you can safely make your deposit anytime.

When depositing at one of our night drops, simply put the cash or check in an envelope and include your account number or a deposit slip.

Just a heads up that any deposits made at the night depository after 7:30 a.m. Central Standard Time will not be processed until the following day, and any deposits made over the weekend will not be processed until the next business day.

First National Bank and Advantage ATMs

With ATMs at most of our branches and access to The Advantage Network’s fleet of surcharge-free ATMs, we make it easy to deposit cash or checks on the go.

You can find a list of ATMs that accept deposits from First National Bank cardholders here.

If you plan to make a deposit at an ATM, please keep in mind that our cutoff time is 1:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. Deposits made after the cutoff time will be posted the next business day.

If you have questions about any of these services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
