Joanna is an Augustana graduate who grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. She has been in the banking industry for five years. She currently manages our Downtown and Louise Branches after serving our customers at the 57th Street Branch.

She was drawn to First National because it’s a local community bank with empowered employees, a family-friendly environment, and humble bank leaders. She believes that First National’s commitment to relationships helps her live out her passion to “help customers achieve their financial goals.”

Joanna is a passionate community volunteer who loves to support our military and veterans and assist elders in our community through the Rake the Town program.

When she’s not hard at work meeting new customers and welcoming people to the branch, Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, her daughter, Rory, their dog, Bo, and being active playing volleyball and running. Fun facts about Joanna: she’s a flute player and has her Bachelor’s degree in biology!
