“The toughest times present the most opportunities.”
I know the challenges that come with agriculture and have a deep understanding of the business because I live it every day on my own operation.
My brothers and I have been farming together since 2009: growing corn and soybeans, managing two swine nursery barns, and maintaining a few acres for our mother.
That’s why I love being part of the decision-making process with our customers. I believe in my ability to hear your ideas, help you turn them into a vision and plan, and execute that plan to reach your goals.
And, as a fifth-generation farmer myself, I’m passionate about bringing the next generation into an operation and seeing that farm or ranch continue.
Although farming and banking keep me busy enough, I have plenty of hobbies, including hunting, fishing, boating, riding Harley, and skiing. I also volunteer with the Emery Fire Department, local FFA and 4-H organizations, and have previously held positions on ag industry boards.
Currently, I’m attending the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado as well.
My wife, Kara, and I love to travel — especially to Europe, where we can take in the history and culture. We have four children, Libby, Maggie, Wolfgang, and Barron.
You might be surprised (or maybe not) to know that I was invited to the 2003 NFL combine and had tryouts with a few teams. I was never signed, so clearly my path was meant to be agriculture!
