Q: What is your role at FNB? What does your day-to-day work look like?
I just started my new role as a Business Solutions Specialist. I work with business, ag, and other departments in the Bank to ensure that our customers are receiving the best service. My day to day is always changing, from answering calls, logging people in to business online banking for the first time, troubleshooting, to working on daily tasks and reports.
Q: What’s your favorite part of your job?
I think my favorite part of the job is that no day is ever the same and that I never know what I am going to come across. Interacting with new customers and building relationships with them has become one of the things that look forward to the most. Also, you cannot forget about popcorn Fridays!
Q: What are you looking forward to within the next ten years for the Bank?
Something I’m looking forward to is building on connections not only within the Bank, but within the community. Seeing and interacting with our customers has led to getting to know them on a personal level, turning strangers into friendly faces.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of work?
I love to hunt, fish, spend time with my family, friends, and my soon to be wife, Kelsey.
Q: What is the last interesting fact you learned?
Your nostrils work one at a time. When we breathe in and out of our nose, one nostril does most of the work, and it switches every few hours.
Q: If you had $500 to spend at any local business, where or what would you spend it on?
I would spend it at Woofs and Waves. I have a 125-gallon saltwater aquarium, and Woofs and Waves is our go-to. They have the best selection of fish and corals!
