Have you used TransferNow yet?

Conveniently accessing and transferring your money has never been more important. That’s why we made it easy to transfer money from your FNB checking and savings account(s) to those at other banks! TransferNow is available in Personal Online Banking and the FNBSF Mobile App.

Transferring money in just a few clicks is an exciting feature! Here are a few things you need to know before you make your first transfer. You can find the full terms and conditions agreement in Personal Online Banking or in the FNBSF Mobile App.

What types of transfers are available?

The external transfer function is currently only available to personal checking and savings accounts. These are the types of external transfers you can make:

Standard Transfer – completed within three business days. They must be initiated by 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST).

Next Day Transfer – completed within one business day. You must meet certain transaction and balance qualifications, and the transfer must be initiated by 5:00 p.m. CST. There is also a $10.00 fee for the transfer.

You can choose whether you want your transfer to be a one-time transfer or if you’d like it to be a recurring transfer.

Are there limits to the amount of external transfers I can make?

Transfers can only be made between accounts with the same ownership. When you make a transfer, you will be required to verify account ownership at the receiving institution.

In addition, for your security, there are limits to the amounts you can transfer. You may be able to adjust the transfer limits on your account, but you’ll need to contact us first.

How can I enroll and make transfers?

To start making transfers, you’ll first need to be enrolled in online banking. You can learn more about online banking or sign up here.

Next, it’s time to enroll in TransferNow. To do this, you’ll need to log in to online banking from a web browser. Once you’re enrolled, you can make transfers within the FNBSF Mobile App, but your initial enrollment must be completed in a web browser.

Once you’re logged in to online banking, navigate to the ‘transfer’ tab in the red bar at the top of the screen. You may need to read and accept the updated online banking terms and conditions. Then, click ‘launch external transfer’ on the right side of the screen. Next, you’ll need to enter your cell phone number. That’s it — you’re now enrolled to make transfers!

To make a new external transfer, click ‘Add a New Account.’ Choose the type of account you’ll be making a transfer to. You can add a nickname to the account if you’d like, but you must add the routing number and account number of the account you are making a transfer to. If you’re not sure of your account number and/or the routing number of the receiving institution, you can use the guide on the screen to see where you can find the routing and account numbers on a check.

You can also view a demo video here. As always, you can contact us with any questions.
