When your friend opens a checking account and completes one or more direct deposits within 60 days of account opening, we’ll reward you both with a $50 Refer a Friend bonus.  You’ll receive $50 through a statement credit after their account has been open 60 days and meets the direct deposit criteria.

 

  • The Refer A Friend program through The First National Bank in Sioux Falls (FNBSF) is open to any current consumer customer 18 years of age or older who refers a new customer to open an FNBSF consumer checking account (Personal Checking, Personal Interest Checking, or Student Checking). New referred customers must also be 18 years of age or older. Employees of FNBSF and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Refer a Friend program. New checking accounts are subject to approval by FNBSF. The referring customer agrees to allow FNBSF to send an email giving the referred customer the opportunity to open an FNBSF checking account. The referred customer’s email address will only be used for this offer and will not be used by FNBSF for any other marketing solicitations. There is a $100 minimum opening deposit requirement for Personal Checking and Personal Interest Checking and a $50 minimum opening deposit requirement for Student Checking accounts. FNBSF will credit $50 to the accounts of both the referring and referred customer if the referred customer opens a new FNBSF checking account, keeps the checking account open for a minimum of 60 days in good standing, and completes one or more direct deposits into the account within the first 60 days. To receive payment, the referring customer’s account must be open and in good standing until the referred customer meets all above criteria. The $50 Refer a Friend bonus will be credited to both the referring and referred customer’s accounts within 35 days after the account has been open 60 days and one or more direct deposit(s) have been completed. By participating in this program, both the referring and the referred customers may be aware that the other is a customer of FNBSF. FNBSF will not share the information with any outside parties for any purpose. This program may not be combined with any other offer and may be modified or canceled at any time without notice to either party. The Refer A Friend program is valid for new consumer checking accounts only. The maximum number of Refer A Friend bonuses is 10 per calendar year. Customers with an existing FNBSF consumer checking account are not eligible to be the referred customer. The $50 Refer a Friend bonus will be reported on IRS Form 1099 MISC. This offer expires on 12/31/2020.
