Wanting to stay in the Sioux Falls area after graduating from Augustana University, Russ started at the Bank in the summer of 1984.
“During my time in college, I came to really appreciate the community for its friendly, caring, and forward thinking qualities.”
The Bank was the perfect fit for him and his family. “The company’s core values and mission statement of building successful relationships align very closely with my personal values. It is very rewarding to play a role in helping people start and grow their businesses.”
When he’s not helping out businesses through the Bank, he volunteers as a Community Reformed Church Board member and Treasurer, Center of Hope Board member and Treasurer, Rotary North of Sioux Falls Board member and Treasurer, The Country Club of Sioux Falls Board member, and Junior Achievement Volunteer.
Russ’s hobbies include outdoor activities of all kinds, woodworking, and working on automobiles.
