After eight years of teaching elementary education, I’m excited to shift my career into financial services.
I believe in being your best and using your talents to better the people and community around you, as outlined by the Bank’s Stewardship value, and that’s exactly what I plan to do as the manager of our Flandreau branch!
In addition to a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, I hold a Master’s degree in reading specialization and spent several years teaching English as a Second Language. I decided to join FNB because everyone who works here speaks so highly of it, and the Bank has a great reputation.
My husband, Bobby, and I live in Flandreau with our daughter, June, and we love taking weekend getaways together. I also do plenty of reading and teach fitness classes in my free time (I’ve completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training).
If I could share a favorite money tip of mine, it would be to not follow someone’s financial advice just because they appear to have a lot of money.
There are lots of ways to be successful and grow your money; instead, do your own research and find people and strategies that align with your financial situation and goals.
