Trust Investments Manager

Hometown: Sioux City, IA
Education: University of South Dakota

I joined First National Wealth Management as an Investment Analyst in 2009, was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2011, and took over as Investments Manager in 2016.

My credentials include a bachelor’s in finance from USD and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation from the CFA Institute, which I proudly use to manage investments in a fiduciary capacity for individuals, foundations, and trusts.

I appreciate the trust our clients place in us to manage their money — money that in some cases has taken more than a generation to earn.

In fact, what makes our team unique is that we get to research new and current investments and make decisions on your behalf! I thoroughly enjoy getting to know our clients and building a customized portfolio based on their hopes, goals, and needs, and I love that FNB’s approach to investing gives me that opportunity.

Outside of work, my favorite hobbies are golfing, traveling, and reading. I also volunteer my free time on the USD Foundation Investment Committee, but I really enjoy spending most of my time with my wife, Anne, and our sons, Wyatt and Will.
