Jon Erickson

Business Banker

“My father always said, ‘If you like what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with, never quit.’”

For over three decades, Jon has enjoyed interacting with coworkers and challenging himself to find innovative ways to help his customers succeed. Having previously worked for another local bank, Jon joined FNB in 2004. “I was motivated to join the team at First National Bank based on their local- and family-oriented focus.”

Jon grew up on his family’s farm near Sherburn, MN, and earned his degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. He says he’s “still a farm kid at heart” and tries to help on the family farm in MN when he has the time. Jon also enjoys photography, golf, and playing in a summer softball league. He retired from traveling competitive softball in 2009 but continues to play with old friends!

Jon is a proud volunteer with the Tiger Nation Foundation and JDRF and is a member of the Sioux Falls chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association. His support system includes his wife, Renae (ask about his sky high proposal!), and his sons, Conner and Adam.
