Our Ag team has had quite the eventful summer.
We added a new face to the team, promoted two familiar faces, and officially announced the rebranding of our crop insurance division, formerly known as First Crop Solutions.
As you harvest this year’s crops and most certainly reflect on your own summer — the high temperatures, the severe storms, the numbers on the rain gauge (or lack thereof) — we wanted to take the opportunity to share more information with you about First Ag Risk Management (FARM).
What is First Ag Risk Management?
First Ag Risk Management (formerly First Crop Solutions) is the same FNB crop insurance division that has been helping farmers protect their operations for years.
Insurance is all we do — so we can focus on you, your operation, and your risk management needs.
Nothing has changed aside from the name and logo (we’ll explain why in a moment). You can expect the same great service from our Crop Insurance Specialist, Tyler Urban, as well the same high-quality solutions:
- Crop Hail Insurance
- Livestock Risk Protection (LRP)
- Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI)
- Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF)
- Private Products
Why First Ag Risk Management?
We have rebranded First Crop Solutions to First Ag Risk Management to better encompass our full suite of products and services.
While crop insurance is still a major component of how we serve producers, we didn’t want to be limited to just a crop insurance provider.
“We’ve seen a tremendous increase in the popularity of the Livestock Risk Protection program,” Tyler says. “This is a great way for livestock producers to set a floor under your cattle and hogs, and you won’t have to pay any premium until the policy expires.”
“Livestock Risk Protection and crop insurance are some of the primary safety nets in helping producers minimize risk,” says Ag Banking Manager Brian Gilbert. “These products also give our lenders the ability to help lend to the next generation, thereby assisting family farms in passing the torch.”
What does this mean for me?
First, we hope you come to recognize our new FARM logo on advertisements, billboards, our Dakotafest booth, and anywhere else you’ve gotten used to seeing our First Crop Solutions logo!
Second, this rebrand simply means that we are more committed than ever to helping you protect your operation, revenue, and livelihood.
