Growing up on a cow/calf operation and with a grandpa who farmed and had a custom harvesting crew, I always wanted to be a farmer someday.
But life had other plans for me, so now my passion is helping our customers keep their operations sustained and thriving.
I earned my bachelor’s in general agriculture with a minor in animal science from SDSU, then worked as an agronomist for five years before joining the Bank. Because of my background, I enjoy looking at cropping plans with producers and talking break-evens and projections with the cattle guys!
My greatest accomplishment is marrying my wife, Mackenzie, and having two (for now) beautiful girls, Elle and Blair. We recently tried life in Arizona for a couple of years, but we decided that it’s a nice place to visit and Sioux Falls is still home.
When I’m not in the field connecting with farmers, I enjoy a range of outdoor hobbies like skiing, hunting, riding ATV, and cheering on the Jacks at a football game.
