Thomas Newman
Ag Banker
“The most rewarding part of being an ag banker is getting to step foot on a producer’s farm.”
Thomas has been in the industry for 7 years and says visiting his customers and seeing what their hard work has built for them is a privilege he doesn’t take lightly. “I’m grateful to play a small part in that journey.”
What enticed him about working for First National Bank was the accolades it consistently received from producers in his hometown. Thomas says the Bank truly builds successful relationships.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, riding ATV, following college sports, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and French bulldog, Sunny. He is also a volunteer with the United Way and The Banquet.
Thomas grew up on an acreage just north of Crooks, SD and graduated from SDSU with a degree in General Ag specializing in Animal Science and Ag Business.
