Liz Krogstad

JD, CTFA

Personal Trust Team Lead

“Every day is different with new challenges and new opportunities. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to make a tangible difference in the lives of my customers.”

Liz grew up on her family’s farm outside of Redfield, SD and attended Augustana University and the University of North Dakota School of Law.  She later attended Cannon Financial Institute through which she obtained her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.

After working in public accounting and as an attorney with the Social Security Administration, Liz chose to join the team at First National Bank because of their reputation in the community.

“I have loved being a part of an organization so focused on family and quality service. They’re dedicated to improving not only our community as a whole, but also the lives of those within it.”

As a member of the Personal Trust Team, she relishes in the fact that every day is different with new challenges and opportunities and finds it incredibly rewarding to make a tangible difference in her customers’ lives.

Liz is involved in the community as a Board Member of both the South Dakota Guardianship Program Trust Board of Trustees and South Dakota Parent Connection. Given her family’s experience with autism, she values being a part of organizations that strive to empower and improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs.  In addition to this involvement, she also enjoys volunteering at The Banquet and at her son’s school.

In her free time, Liz enjoys traveling, photography, cooking and spending time with her husband, Craig, and son, Owen.  If you’re in the neighborhood, stop into the Downtown office; she’d love to meet you!
