We want to make sure your mobile deposits are made securely and correctly. Here are a few quick tips for making your mobile deposits:

Q: How do I need to endorse my mobile deposit?

A: The endorsement must include the customer’s signature and “For mobile deposit only at FNBSF.”

Q: Why do I have to do my mobile deposits differently than I used to?

A: The endorsement requirements were put in place to protect the customer and the bank from checks being deposited both in person and via mobile deposit at either the same bank or at a different bank.

Q: Why is checking the box not sufficient?

A: The check box is only for customers’ records and does not satisfy the requirements for a mobile deposit. Only checking the box will not provide you any legal protection if the check is deposited somewhere else.

Q: What will happen if I don’t endorse mobile deposits properly?

A: We won’t be able to accept your deposit, and overall, it will take longer for your money to be deposited into your account. No one wants to wait for their money, so make sure you endorse your check the correct way to get your money faster!
