Loads of Love
At First National Bank, we are always looking for new ways to get involved in our communities. When the opportunity came around to support another United Way agency, we knew it was something we wanted to be a part of.
During the month of June, we’re partnering with Lutheran Social Services (LSS) and Life 96.5 by holding a donation drive for their Loads of Love program, which works to serve young adults as they transition to living independently.
LSS is in need of the following:
- Sets of towels (washcloth, hand towel, bath towel)
- Laundry basket or laundry bag
- Laundry soap
- Bed sheets (twin or twin XL)
- Hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair brush)
- Cleaning wipes (e.g. Chlorox wipes)
You can bring your donation to any of our Bank locations.
LSS Independent Living Services offers a strong and consistent support system to young adults while they learn to be self-sufficient adults. LSS Social Workers, called CRPs or Community Resources Persons, partner with the young adult’s team to provide information, resources, and support. The items donated during Loads of Love will be one more way LSS CRPs can support these young adults as they work to be independent and successful.
