Secure Access and Verifying User Authenticity
From the time you access bankOn, your personal information is protected using 128-bit encryption as it is transferred between the bank's server and your computer or phone. Once you are enrolled and sign on to use bankOn, you must enter a unique user name and password. For your protection bankOn uses a "3 strikes and you're out" mechanism. After three unsuccessful log-in attempts, the system locks out the user, requiring a phone call to our Customer Support Center at 605.335.5200 before access is granted to the system again.

Secure Data Transfer
At the time you connect to the bankOn site, communication between the user and server is encrypted. Because the server has been certified as a 128-bit secure server, data traveling between the user and the server is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. The server is protected by firewall and intrusion detection software; both are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Time Out Feature
Once you have logged into bankOn, the system monitors your session for any activity. After a certain time period of inactivity, the system will log you out, requiring you to sign on again. This protects you from any unauthorized use.
